She did such a fantastic job that when it was time for us to move back and buy in San Diego county again we knew we didn’t want to work with anyone but Billie! We were able to purchase the perfect property to fit our specific needs in an extremely competitive market! There is so much that sets Billie apart from other agents. I am still blown away by her knowledge, negotiation skills, organization and communication. An example of this is a bidding war we got into over one home… even though we denied continuing with yet another purchase price rebuttal, the realtor’s agent called to tell us they’d rather sell it to us even at the lower price because he loved the experience he had with Billie. We toured tons of homes with Billie and her knowledge of neighborhoods, structural issues, and desirable vs nondesirable traits was invaluable for us while hunting for our first home. Billie Bourgeois is a wonderful real estate agent and we are very grateful that we chose her as our agent for buying our house in San Diego in this super competitive market. We live in San Francisco/Bay Area. We didn't know any agents in San Diego area. We carefully selected a list of real estate agents with very good online reviews and met with them in person during our house hunting trip to San Diego. Billie stood out from the very beginning. She really spent the time to understand what we were looking for and shared her strategy for the current market. When she showed us the properties, she always pointed out the flaws and downsides that we should be aware of, not just the good things about the property. She was never pushy and always answered our questions promptly and patiently. When we were leaning toward some properties that were far away from what we originally wanted, she would share her thoughts with us and pointing out the pros and cons with the locations or the properties, and she would get us re-focused on the locations and type of properties that are much better for us in the long run. When we were bidding for the houses, she was very skillful with the communications and negotiations with the seller agents. In this super competitive market, we were able to get the house we wanted on the 2nd try. In order to win our bid, we had to make our closing period really short (7 days). It was extremely short for all the activities that were required for closing. Billie and her team handled this perfectly and smoothly. Billie arranged all inspections and escrows activities in such short period time and we were able to close the escrow within 7 days without any issues. Her professional skills and dedication really made this happen. We are very grateful for choosing her as our agent. We strongly recommend Billie to anyone who is looking for a real estate agent in San Diego area.
